If you need to get out without getting out, the Quest 2 is ideal. As it comes, it's got high quality visuals, great response time and the controls are amazing! You can customize the heck out of it with custom head straps, face mounts and even prescription lenses...it DOES come with a glasses spacer, so this is only if you're frames are super thick, though. Only two real knocks against it. Battery life could be better, tops out at 2.5 hours, though really you shouldn't be in VR this long, bad for the eyes. And you must have a Facebook account, though there are workarounds to this. At this price point for dipping your toe into VR, you can't go wrong.

Fun little unit. Makes being stuck at home a lot more fun. Highly suggest getting 2, if you have a household of people, or convincing friends to get one, so you can play with others :) We love the casting option, and really enjoy watching what’s happening in the oculus on our TV or phone. Pretty user friendly. Lots of free options on the system!

This product is amazing my family can't get enough of it

I bought myself and my daughter a pair.. They are better then I expected ?????? my daughter uses it for games and I use it for the workouts which are great ??????.. I highly recommend.. Even the couch potatoe will get a workout with ought even realizing it cause of the fun

Before I write this review I will state that I work professionally with this hardware and that my desire to get one of my own was due in part to being familiar with the hardware and software from a technical standpoint. Now as far as the Quest 2 goes it differs from earlier models such as the rift by being meant as a completely integrated experience. Where the Rift would need a pc to drive it, Games and experiences on the Quest 2 can be installed directly to the device requiring no tethering to a pc or console to enjoy! The device can still be used as a tethered experience as well and with the link software can be used with other VR titles such as those available on the windows store or in SteamVR. The controllers are simple to use and easy to pick up, Especially with the tutorial/training applications that usually come pre-installed with the device. As to the library, There are currently many strong exclusives as well as many titles ported to the Quest, And many experimental, Free or otherwise interesting things to try in the Applab as well. My only regret is the controllers can be quite fragile and in my own case my right controller stopped working in the middle of a game and needs to be replaced. However both Facebook and MDG were quick to contact me about my issue! With VR being a new technology it's to be expected that the odd hardware issue might occur so definitely spring for the extra insurance.

Only small issue I had was tracking the package during shipping but it showed up early so shouldn’t complain lol but the vr set is great I have no complaints

Originally bought for my husband and daughter - but would appear my husband enjoys it more haha said it’s amazing, good sound, good visuals and we’ll worth the purchase!
