“Great company to work with! ”
A long one!
Obviously, my bad credit brought me here. Having said that, we all know the consequences of our choices and sometimes not our choices. In my case, I had a lot of medical bills and no insurance. Ultimately this destroyed my credit.
I knew that I was going to have to pay to rebuild. I also needed a laptop. I happened upon MDG and the rest is history. I have been paying faithfully every two weeks on this laptop for almost 3 years.
Having said that there is always the option to pay off early to save yourself some money. There’s also an option to make extra payments. Unfortunately for me, I was never able to take advantage of those options. They were more than clear and upfront the cost I would be paying and there was no deception.
The process of ordering the laptop and connecting my bank account, having to speak with MDG, etc. was actually pretty smooth. I haven’t had a lot of dealings with them as far as communication goes because I make my payments on time. However, there was one month when my bank account did change and I totally spaced out that I needed to change it with MDG. They reached out to me. I was more than happy to make the change, but really kind of concerned getting a late mark on my credit. They worked with me and assured me that there would not be one, and guess what they held their end.
Other than that, I haven’t communicated with them. There is no need to. Make your payments on time when you change your account let them know if you’re having issues communicate. I also read their reviews on the Better Business Bureau. Ultimately on most of the complaints it’s the customer in the wrong. If you read the responses, MDG is more than fair and more than willing to work with these people to get back on track to refund and to fix the issue.
This company has been more than fair with me and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants to make these bigger purchases that have bad credit. If you hold up your end of the bargain, they will raise your limit eventually overtime, and have trust in you. Do what you’re supposed to do. They are a good company and putting their money out on the line to take a loss on someone with bad credit.
TLDR; pay your bill and they will be a dream company. Obviously you’re gonna pay more but that’s the cost for having bad credit and we all know it. My laptop still runs like she’s brand new!
