The optional BASIC Credit Monitoring Service is available to you when you submit an application to pre-qualify for MDG's consumer financing program. The complimentary service gives you access to your credit score.

The optional PREMIUM Credit Monitoring Program is available to anyone who's interested in this service. PREMIUM Credit Monitoring provides notifications and updates about your credit score, credit history graph & credit report.

The fee for the PREMIUM Credit Monitoring service is $9.90/biweekly (including applicable taxes).

The Credit Monitoring Service will not affect your credit score. Both optional Credit Monitoring Services only performs soft inquiries which is a credit review, and soft pulls are not reported to the credit bureaus.

For example, a routine credit review may occur if you were pre-qualified for a credit offer, an increase in a line of credit, etc.

A hard pull is associated with a credit check. This occurs if you apply for a mortgage, a car loan and/or an apartment rental.

If you have the PREMIUM or the BASIC Credit Monitoring service, you can view your credit score information in your MDG Account, under the Credit Score Tab.

If you have the BASIC Credit Monitoring Service, you'll only see a credit score.

If you have the PREMIUM service, you'll access your credit score, your interactive graph of your credit history, alerts of any significant changes, and a credit report.

The snapshot will display significant jumps or a decline in your credit score. Changes take place over time. Monthly updates on your payment history are sent to a national credit bureau — so all your payments are reported.

If you're using the PREMIUM Credit Monitoring Service, you can downgrade to the BASIC Credit Monitoring Service.

If you decide that you don't want to use the BASIC Credit Monitoring Service either, you can opt-out of the service entirely.
