I read reviews before purchasing, most of them very favorable. It did not disappoint. I would rate it higher but the reviews were right about shorter battery life and loud at max fans. Its a gaming laptop. Loud fans at max load are the norm. I havent tested battery for just watching videos or doing work. I keep it plugged in. If power does go out though it would give you ample time to save progress or get to safe place in a mmorpg. The screen is great though. I never had a screen above 75hz so wasnt sure 165hz would make a noticeable difference. It definitely does. Buttery smooth. Graphics wise it slightly lags behind my desktop 3060ti but still allows for mid to high on games like dead island 2. The processor is slightly better at rendering things in blender and slicing in ultimaker cura for 3d. Im comparing it to an intel i9 11900. In conclusion. Im happy. I would be happier with more space and ram but those are upgradeable.
