I had a question about why an early payment was still pending while it looked like today's payment had cleared. I was upset that the interest offset of the balance change was not reflected in today's payment. The asssociate explained that it was last weeks payment that cleared today and that all payments take 5 days, so that the balance difference would be reflected in the payment today, which would clear next Friday. I felt stupid, but the associate was very kind and helpful, and I now have a better understanding of how the payments are processed
